The UFC Vegas 3 co-main event was the setting where the #8 ranked featherweight, Josh Emmett, went to war with the #10 ranked, Shane Burgos. Both men were willing to stand and slug it out until the final bell. Emmett seemed to injure his knee right away, but was still throwing his patented heaters. Burgos was pressuring with more of a slickster approach, jabbing and landing lasers. He also had to eat several big bombs whenever he wanted to close the distance, and was even dropped twice by Emmett in the final frame. This was a classic Emmett performance, who has now put together a three-fight winning streak.
