Conor McGregor recently created his greatest of all time rankings, unsurprisingly arguing on social media that he’s among the very top of the list. There were mixed reactions on McGregor’s conflicting arguments, and this sparked some pointed responses from two fighters who holds wins over him, and another who normally tops people’s pound-for-pound lists.
McGregor said he’s at least number two, or tied for number one with Anderson Silva due to finishes in multiple divisions. This made Nate Diaz, Khabib Nurmagomedov, and Jon Jones decide to all roast the Irishman and his rankings on Twitter.
In trademark Diaz fashion, Nate brought up his quick submission win to shut down any talk of McGregor being the greatest of all time.

McGregor said Khabib has a “fancy record” but a long way to go before entering the GOAT rankings. The 28-0 Dagestani completely shut down the Irishman’s arguments by again bringing up all his multi-division submission losses and zero title defenses.
you tapped out in featherweight , you tapped out in lightweight and you tapped in welterweight , you never defended title in the UFC or Cage Warriors , you gave up more than GSP , Spider and Bones all together.— khabib nurmagomedov (@TeamKhabib) May 24, 2020
you greatest @ufc fighter in twitter history.
Jones, who McGregor put all the way down at number four, responded by showing his 14-0 record in UFC title fights. He also gave a shout out to Khabib for his response.
Like I said I’ll let the fans do the debating for me, thanks Khabib pic.twitter.com/hhtnijk07J— Jon Bones Jones (@JonnyBones) May 24, 2020
Jorge Masvidal also chimed in on the discussion to talk about his BMF title win over Diaz:
Greatest of All Time arguments are always highly subjective and can get a bit silly and pointless, especially in such a young sport like MMA. That being said, it can be a pretty fun and hilarious discussion, especially when the athletes themselves decide to jump in and take shots at each other to make their case.
