Last night, the reigning UFC lightweight champion targeted ‘has been’ Chael Sonnen without explicitly mentioning his name, but it didn’t take long for ‘The American Gangster’ to figure out what was up.

That’s when Sonnen, who was TKO’d by Jones in a short notice light heavyweight title bout back in 2013, unleashed a series of humiliating Tweets at the No. 1-ranked pound-for-pound fighter in the world.
Sonnen made fun of Jones’ numerous mishaps outside the cage and joked that him driving sober would make for national news.

The UFC legend is widely considered one of the most entertaining figures in the sport and, despite never winning a title, was one of the best fighters in MMA.
