“Jon Jones is still getting caught, and he’s still a piece of s*it, and hopefully he goes to jail soon.”

You didn’t expect Colby Covington to go soft on Jon Jones after his latest arrest for drunk driving, did you?

Covington, in vintage Covington form, blasted ‘dirtbag’ Jones over his latest arrest and said the reigning UFC light heavyweight champ would be better off behind bars.

Speaking to MMA Fighting’s Mike Heck on a recent episode of What The Heck, ‘Chaos’ went to town on Jones, accusing his ex-college roommate of using steroids and cheating on his wife.

“You would think that we’ve never seen anything like this before,” Covington said, per MMA Fighting’s Alexander K. Lee. “We’re going through this pandemic, this unprecedented time, the coronavirus, people are stuck in their houses and you would just think that everything is just—It’s the craziest time ever in life. But then Jon Jones gets caught by the Albuquerque police again. For what, the seventh or eighth time? Everything is normal in the world, people, I promise you.

“Jon Jones is still getting caught, he’s still a dirtbag, he’s still cheating on his wife and doing drugs and doing steroids, and we can almost go back to normal soon. So hang in there people, you’re gonna be out of your houses soon, the world is coming back to normal. Jon Jones is still getting caught, and he’s still a piece of s—t, and hopefully he goes to jail soon.”

Jones has had numerous run-ins with the Albuquerque police department over the years and has been stripped of his UFC light heavyweight title on two separate occasions. ‘Bones’ acknowledges his flaws while at the same time boasting of his achievements, claiming his mistakes will never ‘outweigh all the awesome things’ he’s done.

As for Covington, the former interim welterweight champ hasn’t fought since his TKO loss to Kamaru Usman at UFC 245. Covington has hinted of a move to the WWE in the future, claiming that he intends to make a truck load of cash when he signs with the premier wrestling promotion in 2021.

“I would say probably 2021. Next summer, not this summer, but next summer. I’ve been practicing moves and really working on my promo and mic skills and just control and slowing things down and understanding the art of wrestling. I want to make sure when I go there I make the biggest splash possible because I’m not here for a long time, I’m here for a good time and I’m not here to make friends, I’m here to make money. When I go over there I want to make Brink’s trucks loads of money.”
