On December 12, 2020 UFC 256 is going down from the company’s APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. The PPV main card portion of the event is getting a heavyweight tussle between former champion, Junior dos Santos, and the 6-0 Ciryl Gane. Betting odds have surfaced for this matchup, and JDS owns quite the plus line.

The oddsmakers over at SportsBetting.ag have the former title holder listed with an underdog line of +300, with the less experienced Gane being favored at -400. A $100 wager on JDS would payout $400, and a $100 bet on Gane would payout $125. The last time somebody was more favored over JDS was Fabricio Werdum’s crazy -650 moneyline way back at UFC 90 in 2008. Dos Santos was a +450 dog at the time and won by knockout in 81-seconds.

Fast forward to present day, JDS is looking to rebound after being brutally knocked out in three consecutive outings. As for Gane, he has been flawless thus far in his young career, including all-three of his UFC bouts. This would definitely be the best win of Cyrils’s career, and possibly the worst loss of Junior’s.
