The main event of UFC Vegas 14 saw #7 ranked lightweight Paul Felder step up on just five days’ notice to take on former UFC lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos. Despite the short notice, Felder had some good moments in the fight and was very sharp with his combinations. However, Dos Anjos implemented his game plan by forcing Felder against the fence, landing takedowns and ground strikes to win the decision.

Round 5 - Dos Anjos backs Felder to the fence, and eventually takes him down. RDA works from half, and probably could pass to side but is just working on control. Felder spins eventually but still can’t get up. He’s a bloody mess. Dos Anjos lands a few hard knees to the body. Felder gets up, but RDA still has a body lock. He transitions to the legs and takes Felder down again. There’s no getting up.
