If YouTube hits are anything to go by, UFC 254 is going to be the biggest PPV of the year.
Just one week after the UFC released the official promo for UFC 254: Khabib vs. Gaethje, the video has already generated over 2.3 million views on YouTube, making it one of the most popular videos on the UFC’s official YouTube channel and on track to surpass the MayMac embedded series.
The video, which you can watch below, touts Justin Gaethje as one of the most violent men in the UFC and Khabib Nurmagomedov arguably the most dominant fighter in UFC history.
Gaethje, who became the first man to TKO Tony Ferguson at UFC 249, is widely considered Nurmagomedov’s most dangerous opponent to date and the toughest stylistic matchup of his career. ‘The Highlight’ possesses vicious knockout power in both hands and has some of the best takedown defense in the UFC. Nurmagomedov, however, has taken down and mauled just about every opponent he’s ever faced and has only ever lost one round in his UFC career.
UFC 254: Khabib vs. Gaethje takes place later this month, Oct.24 at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
