Kamaru Usman’s Twitter hacked, sends vile threats to Conor McGregor’s girlfriend, Conor responds

Conor McGregor has some doubts over Kamaru Usman’s Twitter account being hacked at UFC 246.

Conor McGregor returned to top form last night, dismantling Donald Cerrone in the first round of the UFC 246 main event to re-establish himself as one of the most dangerous strikers in the sport.

It was all celebrations for McGregor and his team up until ‘The Notorious’ received an urgent phone call from UFC president Dana White. White called McGregor to inform him that Kamaru Usman’s Twitter account had been hacked and implored the Irishman not to react to ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’s’ hacked tweets.

The hackers posted a series of vile messages (later deleted) from Usman’s Twitter account targeting McGregor and his long-time girlfriend, Dee Devlin.

White says the hackers released Usman’s bank details but McGregor has his doubts, claiming that the first tweet in which they called him an ‘Irish punk’ has Ali Abdelaziz’ fingerprints all over it.

“I am sceptical of that. One came through early and it had all the hallmarks of that f *** weasel Ali,” McGregor said of Usman’s manager, Abdelaziz (h/t Joe Coleman of Talk Sport).

“They give him control of the accounts. He gets something and writes it through their thing. “I’ve been in discussions with these athletes about helping them out and I know what would happen.

“The first one had all the hallmarks of your man who has done it in the past. Dana sent a message to say it had happened but I only saw the first one.

“This has been happening for years, I’ve been dealing with this for a long time.”
