MMA SQUARED: The sad reality of Colby ‘the slave’ Covington vs Dana White

As a person with strong feelings about fighter pay, the current situation with Colby Covington is painful to witness. While “he signed the contract” is a refrain I’ve often read, that argument would hold a lot more water if individual fighter pay was public knowledge. The UFC holds all the cards and each fighter is stuck guessing whether they’re being lowballed (they are!). How can a fighter assess their own worth in a vacuum?
