It’s fight day for UFC 239 and Bloody Elbow is here to provide the final betting lines!

The UFC light heavyweight title will be on the line in the main event when defending champion Jon Jones faces the dangerous challenger Thiago Santos. Considering that Jones has never really lost a professional MMA fight, omit Matt Hamill, it’s no surprise to see him as a -660 betting favorite. His opponent Santos has had a strong run to the title at 205-pounds, but the +540 underdog has tasted defeat in his middleweight days, both by way of knockout and submission. He was always expected to have a hefty plus sign next to his moneyline going up an arguable G.O.A.T.

What is interesting is the fact that the betting public has shown the bulk of their love for the challenger after the UFC 239 weigh-ins. As of Bloody Elbow’s UFC 239 previous betting odds post, Jones was sitting as a -800 betting favorite, but has since dropped down a bit. Santos’ moneyline also dropped a tick down from +550, so there are some people giving the challenger a chance.

The over/under for this one has been set at 2.5 rounds. The ‘under owns the favored line here at -127, with a +112 comeback on the ‘over.’ The oddsmakers do not foresee this main event title fight going the full 25 minutes. ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ owns a heavily favored line of -365, with a +275 comeback on ‘Fight goes to decision.’

UFC champ-champ Amanda Nunes will attempt to defend her bantamweight crown in the UFC 239 co-main event when she faces former queen Holly Holm. Having knocked out both Ronda Rousey and Cris Cyborg, Nunes is heavily favored here with a betting line of -380. Holm is clocking in as a +340 betting underdog. The over/under for this 135-pound title fight has been set at 4.5 rounds. Both the ‘over’ as well as the ‘under’ were available with -115 moneylines, but now it is the ‘under’ at -122 who is the lone favorite. The ‘over’ is now sitting as a +107 underdog.

Also on the UFC 239 main card will be a high-stakes welterweight tilt between the #4 ranked Jorge Masvidal and the #5 ranked Ben Askren. With a moneyline of -215, Askren owns the favored role with a +195 comeback on Masvidal. Making his move to light heavyweight, former middleweight king Luke Rockhold is a -230 betting favorite to a +210 Jan Blachowicz. Opening up the UFC 239 PPV portion, Michael Chiesa rogers up as a strong -355 favorite to a +320 underdog in Diego Sanchez.

The UFC 239 main card will air live on Pay-Per-View (ESPN+) at 10:00 P.M. ET with the prelims starting at 8:00 P.M. ET on ESPN. The exclusive Fight Pass prelims will begin at 6:15P.M. ET.
