I was thinking about old comics, how they’d do these big spreads with the hero facing off against their rogue’s gallery. That’s kinda how Nate sees himself against the UFC brass and his fellow fighters.

He’s fighting Anthony Pettis, talking trash about every lightweight in the top five, dropping GSP’s name in a tournament setting... it’s great to have you back, Nate. There’s an endless number of opponents for a fighter who hasn’t stepped into the octagon since 2016. Tony Ferguson? Yes. Dustin Poirier? Yes. Donald Cerrone? Yes. Conor McGregor? Sure, why not? Darren Till? Go for it. Jorge Masvidal? That sounds like actual fire. Tyron Woodley? Get your back to the fence, champ, we need to see that one too.
