The headliner comes in the heavyweight division, with heavy hitters Francie Ngannou and Junior dos Santos facing off with a possible title shot on the line.

This show will air fully on the big ESPN. The six-fight preliminary card kicks off at 6pm ET, and the six-fight main card goes down at 9pm ET.

Main Card (9pm ET)

Junior dos Santos vs. Francis Ngannou

Round 1 - They touch up. Ngannou with a leg kick. Another. Dos Santos lands his own and it trips Ngannou up briefly. Huge right from Ngannou, and another leg kick. Dos Santos misses with a big left and he’s spun around. Ngannou cracks him with a big shot and he’s down! He’s all over him and it’s over just like that. JDS is fine but he got caught and pounded out.

Jussier Formiga vs. Joseph Benavidez

Round 1 - Benavidez lands a leg kick. Body kick. Formiga just misses with a right. Another big body kick from Joe B. Formiga with a hard counter left and a leg kick. Benavidez with a right hook that lands glancingly. Formiga cuts Benavidez with the counterpunch. Formiga with a spinning back fist. Benavidez gets inside against the cage. He doesn’t last long there. Low kick from Benavidez but he slips and Formiga grabs onto his back. He spins him to the floor and goes to mount but Benavidez rolls right through back to the feet. Formiga as a front headlock but it’s not dangerous. Back to the middle. 10-9 Benavidez.

Round 2 - Body kick from Benavidez. He’s pressuring. Body kick from Formiga. Formiga with a step-in elbow. Quick left from Formiga. He shoots and gets him down! Wow. Benavidez immediately spins to the top. That was pretty. Formiga trying to set up an arm triangle from the bottom. That’s not gonna be a thing against someone of Joe’s caliber. They’re back up. Benavidez batters the front leg with kicks. Again. Formiga lands a shot that knocks Benavidez off balance. He pops right back up and drills Formiga with a head kick!. He’s stunned! Benavidez is all over him and it’s over! Wow! That was outta nowhere.

Demian Maia vs. Anthony Rocco Martin

Round 1 - Martin feinting a lot early. Maia with a lead left. Martin fires back. Somewhat slow pace to start. Maia in on a single. He’s deep on the leg but Martin is defending. Maia dumps him to his butt, then postures up and controls. Very nice. Grapevines both legs, but gives it up to step over. He’s in a version of mount, but Martin still has his back against the cage. Maia lands a few punches, just biding his time. Some good body shots from Maia. He stands back up to readjust. Martin uses the opportunity to get up and spins Maia against the fence. They separate with 20 seconds to go. Martin tries to press. 10-9 Maia.

Round 2 - Front kick from Martin just misses. He stuffs a shot. Nice right from Martin. Maia shoots and grabs a guillotine. Martin defends but Maia perseveres with another shot and he’s all over Martin again. Martin almost scoots away but Maia hangs on. The crowd is restless but this is good work. Martin is resisting and not ending up in a truly bad spot though. Maia with a few body shots. The ref stood them up! That was truly awful. Maia immediately jumped in again and looks for a guillotine. The round ends with Martin on his back. 10-9 Maia.

Round 3 - Martin just misses with a head kick. Not much happening 90 seconds in. Martin trying to reach with long rights but Maia is evading them. Head kick is blocked by Maia. Again. He lands with a jab. He’s winning the round so far but only due to lack of activity. Maia shoots with 90 seconds to go but gets stuffed. Martin walks him down and lands to the body. Overhand right from Martin scores. Maia is circling. He shoots but Martin rebuffs him. Maia just pulls him into guard. Martin backs out and looks for big punches but it’s too late. 10-9 Martin, but 29-28 Maia.

Roberts vs. Vinc Pichel

Round 1 - They trade low kicks early. Roberts with a nice straight right. Piche continues to kick the outside of the leg, but Roberts lights him up with a few punches inside. They clinch up. Roberts looks for a takedown but can’t get anywhere. Jump knee from Roberts! Pichel just eats it. Pichel clinches but doesn’t get anywhere. Roberts really wants to take the fight down but Pichel isn’t having that. Roberts with a pretty jab and a right hook, but Pichel counters. Roberts gets a takedown with 45 seconds to go. He’s on the back, and looking for a choke. Pichel fights it off and gets back up. But Roberts is inside and lands two big punches. Pichel backs him off and lands a right. He looks for his own takedown at the horn. 10-9 Roberts.

Round 2 - Hard leg kicks from Roberts. Pichel with a right and he charges in on a takedown attempt. And gets it. Roberts doen’t stay on the bottom long. He presses with punches and scores, then looks for his own takedown. Pichel sluffs him off. Nice right from Roberts. Pichel digging with jabs but not landing. Roberts finiding his rhythm. He’s just missing with his fancy stuff. He scoops a single and gets Pichel down. Pichel tries to use the moment to sweep, but can’t initially. Then he does! Nice. He lands a couple of elbows. He goes to mount right at the horn. 10-9 Pichel.

Round 3 - Pichel with a body kick. He misses with a right hook but lands the follow-up left. Roberts fires back. Pichel looks for a takedown and gets it. Roberts tries to scramble but Pichel ends up on his back, sort of. He’s landing big rights and he’s looking for a choke. Roberts walks it off and gets up, but he’s in a guillotine. Pichel looks to have it secured but he gives it up. Spinning elbow from Pichel out of it! He charges in for another takedown attempt, and eventually Pichel puts him on his butt. He takes the back and looks for a choke but he’s up high. He tries to readjust. He rolls with back mount and a body triangle. Roberts tries to roll out but Pichel deftly rides him and steps over into mount. Pretty grappling from the slugger. Roberts spins out. Pichel is high on his back. Roberts is up at the horn, but he got outhustled there. 10-9 and 29-28 Pichel.

Vinc Pichel defeated Roosevelt Roberts via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Drew Dober vs. Marco Polo Reyes

Round 1 - Dober with a couple of leg kicks. They exchange and Dober lands a big shot. Reyes went down, then wrestled his way back to a neutral position. Dober presses and lands another shot that puts Reyes down. Big rights and it’s over!

Paul Craig vs. Alonzo Menifield

Round 1 - Craig gets in Menifield’s face during the intros. Menifield clinches immediately. His corner is begging him to disengage. Craig jumps guard for a sub attempt briefly, and they separate a minute and a half in. Craig dives forward for a takedown but can’t get it. Craig fakes a takedown but falls to his back. Menifield isn’t engaging. Outside leg kick and a combo from Menifield. Craig in on a single but can’t get it down again. Spinning back kick from Craig lands. He tries to spin again but Menifield cracks him as he goes down! Menifield puts him to sleep with punches on the ground!
