The Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, SC was home to an entertaining night of fights. The card saw four (T)KOs and seven unanimous decisions.
Fight of the Night: Deron Winn vs. Eric Spicely
Deron Winn and Eric Spicely put on one helluva scrap to open the card and they wasted no time getting down to business. Winn was clearly getting the better of the exchanges early on, but a big Spicely knee rocked him. From there, Spicely pressured him in the clinch and continued trading bombs. The second round saw Winn control the pace with plenty of flurries that punished the head and body. The third round was a rinse-and-repeat affair, with the two swinging hell for leather. They continued this crazy pace all the way to the final bell.
Winn gets the win and both men take home $50,000 bonuses.
Performances of the Night: Jair Rozenstruik, Chan Sung Jung
Jair Rozenstruik wasted no time dispatching opponent Allen Crowder to the Land of the Lost with an incredible nine-second knockout. Rozenstruik dropped Crowder with a jab, then followed him down to land the last few seconds of ground-and-pound that ended the fight.
Jairzinho Rozenstruik gets the win and a $50,000 bonus
Chan Sung Jung aka The Korean Zombie needed less than a minute to World War Z (thanks MacMallyMMA) his way into a gnarly finish of Renato Moicano. A heat seeking missile overhand right dropped Moicano, who survived until the Zombie jumped on his back, got him flattened out and started teeing off until the referee waved off the action.
The Korean Zombie gets the win and a $50,000 bonus.
