The promotion’s #14 ranked welterweight Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos just ran through Curtis Millender in the first round of the UFC Wichita co-main event. The Brazilian has dazzled in the Octagon with his striking, but it was his ground game that aided him in his dominant win over Millender, as he was able to get a rear-naked choke after taking his foe down early in the contest.

Zaleski shot in and scored a takedown within the first 30 seconds of the fight. Millender gave up his back, which led to Zaleski taking full mount. Again, Millender gave up his back and this time Zaleski cranked on a RNC. Millender fought off the hold for a second, but the squeeze was just too much and he was forced to tap.

Zaleski has now won seven-straight in the UFC, with his three previous bouts finishing up inside the distance.

Elizeu Zaleski def. Curtis Millender by submission (RNC) at 2:35 of round 1: Welterweight
