Co-headlining UFC 235 was a welterweight title bout between current champion Tyron Woodley, and top contender Kamaru Usman. From bell to bell, the challenger impressed, dominating Woodley on the feet and on the ground, and Usman is now the new champion.

Round 5 - Usman walks him down. He lands a jab and charges in. Woodley looks for the guillotine again, but he’s not dropping with it. He’s just holding him in place. Knees to the legs from Usman. Foot stomps. Now Woodley tries to crank on the neck and Usman slams him to the mat with authority! Woodley is still holding it but Usman is in half and in zero danger. Body punches from Usman. Usman landing elbows to the body now. Woodley’s just laying there. Short elbows. Woodley trying to push off with the cage but Usman spins him around. One minute to go. Usman with a knee to the body. Woodley gets to one knee. Usman dumps him back onto his butt. 10-9 and 50-44 for Kamaru Usman. Pure domination.
