The first UFC PPV event of 2019, UFC 235, went down, Saturday, March 2nd, with a phenomenal card. The main event was a UFC Light Heavyweight title fight between, champion, Jon ‘Bones’ Jones, and the challenger Anthony ‘Lionheart’ Smith, preceded by a co-main welterweight title bout featuring champion, Tyron Woodley, and challenger Kamaru Usman. Also of note on this card were bouts between Welterweights Robbie Lawler and Ben Askren, Tecia Torres vs Weili Zhang at Women’s Strawweight, and Bantamweights Cody Garbrandt vs Pedro Munhoz.
