Seven of UFC 235’s main card stars will earn guaranteed six-figure paychecks.
Saturday’s headliners and co-headliners will all earn guarantee show money with no win bonuses, according to Yahoo Sports’ Kevin Iole. Defending champions Jon Jones and Tyron Woodley will earn flat half-million dollar purses, while contenders Anthony Smith and Kamaru Usman will make $350,000.
What may catch some off-guard is how the debuting Ben Askren has the potential to earn more than his opponent, former welterweight champion Robbie Lawler. Both fighters will make a guaranteed $200,000, but Askren’s win bonus is $150,000 vs. Lawler’s $100,000.
