The latest ESPN+ show provided UFC fans with some good action, even if they didn’t tune in in droves. Unfortunately though, there wasn’t a ton of relevance in terms of rankings outside of the headliner. The night ended up belonging to Junior dos Santo, who carved his way back into the upper echelon at heavyweight by stopping Derrick Lewis in the second round in Wichita.
Here’s a look at the few other changes.
P4P - No changes.
Heavyweight - Cigano’s win moved him up five big spots to sit at three. Lewis fell two spots to five. Alexander Volkov, Alistair Overeem, and Cain Velasquez all fell a spot each to sit from six to eight. Marcin Tybura fell out of a tie for ten to take over 11 on his own. Blagoy Ivanov moved up one spot to 14 after beating Ben Rothwell, bumping Andrei Arlovski to 15.
Light Heavyweight - No changes.
Middleweight - No changes.
Welterweight - Rocco Martin enters the rankings at 15 after a win over Sergio Moraes.
Lightweight - No changes.
Featherweight - No changes.
Bantamweight - No changes.
Flyweight - For some really strange reason, T.J. Dillashaw has moved up three spots and is now inside the top 10 at 125. Magomed Bibulatov, Eric Shelton, and Ryan Benoit all fell one spot each and now sit at 11 through 13. Jordon Espinosa enters at 15.
Women’s Bantamweight - Aspen Ladd is up one to six. Yana Kunitskaya is up two to seven. Marion Reneau falls two to eight. Sara McMann fell one to nine.
Women’s Flyweight - No changes.
Women’s Strawweight - No changes.
