Tim Means headed for surgery after breaking knee and ankle at UFC Wichita

After a disappointing loss to Niko Price at UFC Wichita, Tim Means is headed for surgery for multiple leg injuries.

UFC welterweight Tim Means was looking to extend his win streak on Saturday against Niko Price at the UFC’s event in Wichita. Unfortunately for him, he was instead knocked out with just ten seconds remaining in the first round of their main card bout.

Means’ misfortunes, did not end there, as he revealed to have incurred both a broken tibia and ankle during the said fight.

The 35-year-old fighter gave a quick post-fight update on Instagram, stating he is required to undergo surgery.

I do my best to leave it all in the ring everytime out so the fans can get what they paid for. Wasn’t my night I have to get surgery broken tibula and ankle. Niko caught me with a punch and my foot got stuck under me. Much respect to @hybridufc . See y’all down the road. Thankyou to everyone for the kind words.
