UFC 234 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the first episode for this weekend’s big show in Melbourne, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.

We start off in Anderson Silva’s gym, where he’s doing a media workout of sorts. He’s excited to go to Australia and fight Israel Adesanya. He says that he would like to fight for the belt again one day, but he’s not looking into the future right now. He’s just his typical Anderson, clowning around and making everyone laugh.

Still in California, Kelvin Gastelum is doing some running. He says his title fight is a long time coming. His coach talks about how fit Gastelum is as he runs 200-meter sprints. He thinks Whittaker’s a good fight for him, and explains how Rocky is inspiration for him even if he’s not a real boxer.

We head down under to Bobby Knuckles’ house in Sydney. He goofs around with his son, while talking about taking the fight in his home country. His wife discusses what a good man Whittaker is, and said the belt doesn’t matter to her, it’s what he does every day that matters. Whittaker is firm about keeping his belt on Sunday.

UFC 234 goes down this Sunday (Saturday night in North America) in Melbourne.
