Shortly after Conor McGregor’s congratulatory tweet towards Jose Aldo, in which the Irishman hinted at a rematch in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro’s own Rafael dos Anjos responded by claiming that he has ‘unfinished business’ with ‘The Notorious.’
The former lightweight champion is willing to fight McGregor at any weight class.
We have unfinished business, we got close to get it done twice. You pick the weightclass #RDA #Brasil #JesusFirst https://t.co/RMQ9fUv9Q5

Dos Anjos, who now competes at welterweight, was originally scheduled to defend his lightweight title against McGregor back in 2016, but the Brazilian was forced to pull out of the bout after breaking his foot in training.
McGregor went on to fight Nate Diaz in a short notice welterweight bout, losing via second-round submission in the UFC 196 main event.
McGregor has yet to respond to dos Anjos, but it’s unlikely that the former ‘champ-champ’ will take him up on his offer.
McGregor is currently teased to fight Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone, but a rematch with Jose Aldo — this time at 155 pounds, in Brazil — could prove to be the more enticing bout.
