Sage Northcutt has his first fight since his UFC departure scheduled.

Northcutt is booked to meet Cosmo Alexandre at a May 17 ONE Championship event in Singapore. Northcutt announced the news Tuesday at a ONE media event in Los Angeles, according to MMA Fighting.

The bout will take place in ONE’s welterweight division, meaning it will be contested at 185 pounds.

Northcutt signed with the UFC in late 2015 and compiled a record of 6-2. He is coming off a second-round TKO win over Zak Ottow at 170 pounds last July. The UFC did not re-sign him despite his three-fight winning streak, which also included decisions over Thibault Gouti and Michel Quinones.

Northcutt’s last loss was in December 2016 to Mickey Gall.

Alexandre, a kickboxer for over a decade, has not fought in MMA since 2016. The 36-year-old is riding a seven-fight winning streak, a run highlighted by five wins in Bellator. Alexandre is 7-1 as a pro; he lost his MMA debut.
