Bellator 216 betting odds: ‘MVP’ moderately favored over Paul Daley

Bellator 216 is almost here and Bloody Elbow has the betting odds! Tonight’s featured bout has “MVP” Michael “Venom” Page strongly favored over the veteran Paul Daley. MVP is currently available with a moneyline of -220 and Daley can be had at the underdog price of +180.

The oddsmakers do not see this one going the full 25-minutes. ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ owns quite the favored line at -230, with ‘Fight goes to decision’ clocking in at +170. Furthermore, ‘Page wins by TKO/KO’ sports a favored line of -110, with ‘Daley wins by TKO/KO’ sitting heavy at a plump +250.

There is a heavyweight title eliminator going on in the Bellator 216 co-main event. Former Bellator heavyweight king Vitaly Minakov is massively favored in his return to the promotion after nearly five years fighting in Russia. The undefeated Minakov has a moneyline around -515. His opponent, Cheick Kongo, is a hefty underdog with a line of +415, giving him the largest plus line of his career.

The first time these warriors went at it, at Bellator 115 back in 2014, Minakov opened up at -285 with Kongo starting out at +205. Minakov walked away with a dominant decision win. The only prop bet available at this time for the Bellator 216 co-main event is whether or not the fight goes the distance. ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ is favored at -215 and ‘Fight goes to decision’ can be found at +165.

There’s another heavyweight rematch on the billing for Bellator 216.Roy Nelson and Mirko Cro Cop are going to run back. With a moneyline of -220, Cro Cop is the betting favorite, leaving Nelson in the role of underdog at +180.

In their initial matchup, a bout that took place at UFC 137 back in 2011, Nelson opened as the betting favorite at -260, with Cro Cop starting out as a +210 underdog. It was quite the thriller with Nelson coming up with a third round TKO. This bout almost mirrors the co-main event in terms of prop bets. ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ is favored at -230 and ‘Fight goes to decision’ can be found at +170.

Bellator 216 takes place this Saturday, February 16, and will air live on DAZN at 10:00 P.M. ET. The prelims will begin at 7 P.M. ET.
