The co-main event and second of three title fights at UFC 245 was a featherweight tilt between Max Holloway and Alexander Volkanovski. It was a close fight despite one judge having a 50-45, but the challenger brought it, landed good shots, and fought a great fight. We now have a new UFC featherweight champion.

Round 5 - Side kick from Holloway. Jab and inside low kick from Volkanovski. Volkanovski tries going high with a kick but it’s blocked. Holloway pressing. Volkanovski is just leg kicking over and over. Volkanovski with a right that gets through. Holloway with a right hook to the body. Holloway with some big shots! Double jab and a body kick. Volkanovski goes to the body. Jabs from Holloway again. He needs something big here. Holloway with a right. Jab from Volkanovski and he clinches. Two minutes left. Holloway breaks quickly. Volkanovski lands a knee to the cup but they continue. Two big rights over the top from Volkanovski! A third! He scoops a single, releases and lands an uppercut. Holloway lands one too. Elbow from Max. Holloway wit a body kick. He goes to the body. He just missed with the home run uppercut. Left hook from Holloway. Volkanovski ties Holloway up. Max reverses and flurries late, but it’s not enough. 10-9 and 49-46 Volkanovski.
