Live, blow-by-blow updates for today’s UFC event in Boston, which features a light heavyweight fight as the headliner.

The headliner comes in the light heavyweight division, with former 185-pound champ Chris Weidman moving up to take on the undefeated Dominick Reyes. The co-main is a rematch of the UFC Mexico City main event, with Jeremy Stephens and Yair Rodriguez going at it.

This might be labeled a “UFC on ESPN” show, but it’ll actually air on ESPN2. The seven-fight preliminary card for the special Friday event starts at 6pm ET/3pm PT on ESPN2, while the six-fight main card (for which play-by-play will be provided) will kick off at 9pm ET/6pm PT on ESPN2 as well.

Dominick Reyes vs. Chris Weidman

Round 1 - Body kick from Reyes. Weidman ducks under for a double. He settles for a trip. Reyes back up. Weidman almost drags him down again, but can’t. Couple body shots from Weidman. Reyes separates. Body kick from Weidman. Reyes with straight left that drops Weidman! He jumps in with hammerfists and Weidman is out! WOW!

Yair Rodriguez vs. Jeremy Stephens

Round 1 - Rodriguez comes out with a flying kick and he lands a left hook. Rodriguez clinches and looks for a trip takedown, but can’t get it. Stephens reverses against the cage and can’t get his own takedown. Elbow from El Pantera on the break. Side kick to the thigh. Low and body kicks from Rodriguez. Stephens with inside leg kicks. Stephens with a right. Jab. Side kick to the knee from Rodriguez. Crescent kick and a left from Rodriguez. Jump knee that Stephens mostly blocks. Rodriguez spins and misses. Rodriguez with a right inside. Stephens digs to the body. Jumping switch kick to the head from Rodriguez. Stephens staggers Rodriguez with a left, but gets dropped by a jab! He was off balance. 10-9 Rodriguez.

Round 2 - Jumping spin kick from Rodriguez. Rodriguez with a low kick and a side kick. Hard body kick from Rodriguez and Stephens is hurt! Rodriguez is all over him on the ground but Stephens survives for the time being! Rodriguez pounding on him against the cage! Stephens on his back now, still defending. Rodriguez looking for a front choke. Stephens is just holding onto his leg. Big elbow from Rodriguez. More hard punches and hammerfists. Stephens trying to strike from the bottom. Rodriguez looking for a D’Arce. He gives it up. Stephens back to his feet with two minutes to go. Stephens connects with a right hook. Rodroguez with a side kick. Stephens takes Rodriguez to the mat. Wow. Elbow from Stephens on top. Rodriguez rolls over and eats a few shots. Rodriguez fights his way out. 10-9 Rodriguez.

Round 3 - Rodriguez wants to touch gloves. Stephens says no. Body kick from Rodriguez is low. Stephens immediately restarts. Big left and combo from Stephens! Rodriguez circles out. Inside leg kick from Rodriguez. Stephens with his own. Right hook from Stephens. Body kick is caught and Stephens takes Rodriguez down. Big punches from Stephens. Rodriguez is back to his feet. Rodriguez uses wrist control to spin away. Stephens wrestles again and puts Rodriguez on his back. Rodriguez lands some punches from the bottom as he tries to frame up a triangle. Stephens steps over into half with 1:50 to go. Stephens with a lew lefts. Elbows. One minute to go. Stephens needs something big. Body punches from Stephens. Few more elbows. He’s trying to turn it up but Rodriguez wraps him up. More elbows. Stephens backs out for a late kill shot but can’t get it. 10-9 Stephens but 29-28 Rodriguez.

Greg Hardy vs. Ben Sosoli

Round 1 - Hardy with a leg kick. They trade shots. Sosoli with a long left. Head kick from Hardy. Hardy trying to jab. Sosoli with a jab. Sosoli charges in but misses. Hard leg kick from Hardy. Jab from Hardy. Body shot from Sosoli. Hardy with a right that stuns Sosoli a bit. Hard leg kick and an uppercut from Hardy. Another kick. They both land to the body. Sosoli with a right over the top. Quick right for Hardy. Another. A third time. He has a big speed advantage here. They stare at each other to the horn as the crowd boos. 10-9 Hardy.

Round 2 - Slow start. Body kick from Hardy. Superman punch from Hardy. They trade shots but Hardy gets the best of it. More leg kicks from Hardy. Body shot from Sosoli. High body kick from Hardy. Sosoli fires back with a left. The crowd is really booing. Right from Sosoli as Hardy lands yet another leg kick. The action lulls again. Hard jab from Hardy. Left from Sosoli. This is not a good fight. Hardy has his hands down and he’s smiling at Sosoli. Still nothing happens. 10-9 Hardy.

Round 3 - Hardy uses an inhaler in between rounds? Weird. Inside leg kick from Hardy. Inside leg kick from Hardy. Left from Sosoli. Hardy jabs to the head and body. Hardy with a leg kick. Sosoli lands a right. Combo from Sosoli. Hardy back to the leg kicks. Sosoli whiffs on one. Jab from Hardy. Hardy lands more kicks and chops Sosoli down. He’s back up, but they’re just staring at each other. One minute to go. Another leg kick as Sosoli scores with a straight left. A big right scores for Sosoi again and he charges to land another, but there’s nothing there. Hardy gets on his heels. 10-9 and 30-27 Hardy. That weird inhaler thing might make a difference though.

Joe Lauzon vs. Jonathan Pearce

Round 1 - Front kick from Pearce. Lauzon with a combo, Pearce with an uppercut. A left and a right stagger Pearce! Lauzon with a takedown and he’s got his back. He’s holding a half nelson and landing undefended punches. It’s over!

Maycee Barber vs. Gillian Robertson

Round 1 - Barber jabbing. Robertson throwing harder shots but not connecting. Robertson with a lot of volume. Barber with a shot in close. Robertson pulls guard, but Barber isn’t really having it. They clinch against the fence. Barber gets loos and opens up with a barrage of strikes. She’s all over her! Two big elbows! Huge hooks! Robertson stays on her feet but she’s getting totally lit up, and it’s over!

Deron Winn vs. Darren Stewart

Round 1 - Stewart with a right. Winn looks for a takedown. Elbows from Stewart. Stewart stuffs him and lands a hard knee. Winn perseveres. scoops him up, and dump him onto his back. Stewart looks for an armbar. No dice. Winn gets around to his back, with Stewart on one knee. Winn tries to scoop a leg again but Stewart escapes. Winn lands a big left and gets another takedown. Winn lands some lefts. He takes his back again but Stewart gets back up. Winn keeps a grip on him. The crowd is impatient. Short elbow from Stewart, and another. Winn lifts and slams him again. Few elbows from the bottom, and Winn is bleeding. They exchange ground shots. 10-9 Winn.

Round 2 - The cut is up on Winn’s head somewhere. Slow start. Stewart with a jab. Another. Stewart with a hard knee to the cup right as Winn faked a takedown. That was rough. Actually his foot landed as the knee hit the head. Winn only needs a minute to get back in. Winn charges in and clinches. Winn reverses and gets Stewart to the floor. Stewart gives up his back again and powers his way to the floor. They separate with 2:50 to go. Stewart lands a right and a jab. Hard right hook. Stewart defends a takedown. Combo from The Dentist. Winn whiffs on a head kick. Winn in on a single, but can’t get anywhere. Or it seemed that way, ‘til he just straight powered Stewart to the mat briefly. They stall out against the cage. They exchange inside. Two rights from Stewart. 10-9 Stewart.

Round 3 - Jabs from Stewart. Slow start. Winn with a hard overhand right. Stewart dancing on the outside and jabbing. Nice right from Stewart. Big combo. Pops Winn with the jab again. Winn scores with a power left hook. Stewart looks for a takedown, and puts Winn on his back. Wow. Winn spins up with a single and looks to power his way forward. He does. Strong man. Stewart with an elbow from the bottom. Winn with some shots over the top. 90 seconds to go. Stewart gives up his back and gets up with 1:10 to go. Winn with a single scoop slam. Stewart stuck on one knee, with Winn on his back. He does get up and they separate with 30 seconds to go. Winn with a huge left and another big counter. 10-9 and 29-28 Winn.
