The UFC on ESPN+ 1 main event just wrapped up with the promotion’s flyweight champion Henry Cejudo successfully defended his crown with a first round finish of the UFC’s bantamweight king T.J. Dillashaw.
Cejudo took the center looking to strike. Dillashaw obliged him but got rocked in the process. Once Cejudo had him on the ropes, the flyweight king didn’t let up. Punch after punch connected for Cejudo, leaving Dillashaw in all sorts of trouble. The referee had no choice but to step in and stop the fight.
Cejudo has successfully defended his flyweight belt for the first time in his career, and in his post-fight interview he asked Dillashaw to run it back, but at 135 pounds for his belt. Who knows what will be next for Cejudo and what will be next for the UFC’s flyweight division?
