UFC 228 is a strange mishmash of thrilling, predictable, and - depending on your viewpoint - utterly boring. The card is filled with relevant, high level bouts. Fourteen of the 28 fighters on the card are ranked and men’s bantmaweight and women’s strawweight could be headed for a shakeup. There are also some great action fights. Alhassan vs. Price and Magomedsharipov vs. Davis should be thrilling. The two title fights, at the top of the event, however?

Woodley vs. Till and Montano vs. Shevchenko may draw some eyes under the false pretense that Till and Shevchenko are amazing finishers, but their actual interest is going to lie in a a more nuanced set of expectations... either that or the fights will just suck.
