Bellator 206 is underway in San Jose, California, and there’s already been a spectacular highlight on the preliminary card courtesy of women’s featherweight Arlene Blencowe.
Early in the third and final round of her matchup with Amber Leibrock, Blencowe was faced with a situation where she had to defend an armbar. As we’ve seen in several fights in the past, this can occasionally end in the person going for the armbar ending up in a daze after being slammed. This is what happened to Leibrock, as Blencowe lifted and dumped her on the mat, hard on her head. Leibrock was clearly out of it and took a few more punches before the referee stopped the fight. A spectacular finish that would make Bellator 206 co-headliner Quinton “Rampage” Jackson proud.

It’s not quite Sarah Kaufman vs. Roxanne Modafferi, but still a great way by Blencowe to pick up another finish.
