UFC Sao Paulo betting odds: Thiago Santos favored over Eryk Anders

Check out the betting odds for Saturday’s UFC Sao Paulo card, where Thiago Santos is favored over short notice replacement Eryk Anders.

The UFC makes another trip to Sao Paulo, Brazil tonight (Saturday, September 22nd) with UFC Fight Night 137. Bloody Elbow has your betting odds! The top of the billing will see the promotion’s #12 middleweight Thiago Santos (-150) favored over former collegiate football standout, and short notice replacement, Eryk Anders (+140). Out of his 15 UFC appearances, Santos has opened or closed as the betting favorite ten times, with the remaining five bouts having him pegged with strictly underdog odds. As far as Anders, this is be the first time that he can be found at underdog odds in his young MMA career.

In the co-main slot, the UFC’s #14 welterweight Alex Oliveira (-410) is widely favored over the 11-1 Carlo Pedersoli (+365). Cowboy has been favored in seven of his twelve UFC appearances, and only once did he fail to pull through. In Pedersoli’s promotional debut, he made good as the betting favorite by earning a split decision over UFC veteran Brad Scott.

Aside from the co-main event, there are four other UFC Sao Paulo bouts that involve the betting favorite being found at -350 or larger. The widest of said lines belongs to strawweight matchup Livia Renata Souza vs. Alex Chambers, with Souza massively favored at -1100 to Chambers’ dog tag of +900. Right behind that, we have another ultra-wide line in Elizeu Zaleski vs. Luigi Vandramini, with Zaleski sitting large at -840 and Vandramini registering at +660.

Tonight’s UFC Fight Night: Santos vs. Anders main card will air live on FS1 at 10:30 P.M. ET with the prelims starting at 8:30 P.M. ET on FS2. The Exclusive Fight Pass prelims will begin at 6:30 P.M. ET.
