Yesterday, we passed along the odd story about UFC flyweight champion Henry Cejudo losing his title belt while en route to Moscow for the first UFC event there. His luggage never arrived with him, so neither did his belt.

Well today, everyone got a happy ending to the saga when Cejudo’s luggage was found and he was reunited with his title belt after eight long days. He posted about it on Instagram:

“After 8 long days I had a happy reunion this morning. #meandmybaby #gotmybabyback #reunitedanditfeelssogood #thankyounelsonandbigQ @mmajunkiedotcom”

In the video, he enters the luggage place at a New York airport and quickly unwraps the plastic off his suitcase before opening it up and pulling the belt out.

“From Moscow to New York, I finally got my big daddy, Don’t you ever leave my sight again. You hear me? I missed you.”

Cejudo is no stranger to losing things, as he also unfortunately lost his Olympic gold medal due to the California wildfires last year.

He picked up the title by defeating long-time flyweight king Demetrious Johnson via split decision at UFC 227 last month. He has been tied to a superfight against bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw next.
