Renowned rapper and MMA fan Snoop Dogg stirred up the headlines this past weekend when he uploaded his bizarre commentary for the UFC 228 main event between Tyron Woodley and Darren Till.
Despite Bruce Buffer clearly announcing Till as being from Liverpool, England, Snoop repeatedly yelled ‘F-CK DONALD TRUMP’ as Woodley rained down elbows on his opponent and secured a D’Arce choke in the second to retain his welterweight title.
“Yeah, the gorilla done ran up on King Kong, Tyroooon Woodley! Beat his ass! F—k Donald Trump!! (As a punch to the face lands)!! F—k Donald Trump! Beat his motherf—king ass! F—k Donald Trump, n***a, beat his ass! For all the n***as out there, whoop his motherf—kin ass!! Beat his motherf—k, this motherf—ker, cuhh! Fuck Donald Trump! Whoop him!! Whoop him, cuhh. (As Woodley starts to apply the choke) Choke the dog s—t out of him! It’s the dart, they call this the dart (choke)... Tap this n***a out. Tap his ass out. Tap his bitch ass out, n***a. Yeah n***a, Black Panther, ni**a. WAKANDA, TAP OUT, NI**A!! WAKANDA, NI**A!! Wakanda forever! Fuck Donald Trump, n***a, you ain’t no gorilla. You’s a f—king ding dong. Meet King Kong.“
Till, who is still determined to become the greatest fighter of all-time, didn’t take kindly to Snoop’s comments and dropped it like it was hot on social media. The welterweight title challenger called Snoop a ‘f-cking b-tch’ and told him to ‘f-ck off’.
Snoop was formerly featured as a commentator alongside Urijah Faber on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, but the 46-year-old was criticized by fans and fighters for his general lack of knowledge and disrespect towards fighters.
