Report: Video surfaces apparently showing Darren Till in late night scuffle

New, comments

While the welterweight title contender may not have time for his family, it looks like he made some space on his busy calendar to throw hands outside the club.

It’s amazing what people will find time for in their lives. UFC welterweight top contender Darren Till is preparing for the biggest fight of his life, against Tyron Woodley at UFC 228 on September 8th. But, it appears he was able to make room in his busy training schedule to spend a night out at the club, where he seems to have gotten into a scrap with one or two fellow patrons.

Originally uploaded to imgur, a video titled “Darren Till fighting outside Liverpool club” was posted on the site several hours ago, and reports to show the prize fighter “attacking black guys.” A man who looks like Till can be seen taunting and throwing a kick at another man, before the video cuts to what appears to be Till slapping a man.

No word has surfaced on exactly how the dispute started, or whether any further action was taken, outside the few moments captured above. It seems unlikely, however, to be anything that gets in the way of his upcoming title shot.

UFC 228 takes place in Dallas, TX, at the American Airlines Center. The welterweight title fight between Woodley and Till is expected to be the main event. A women’s flyweight title fight between Nicco Montano and Valentina Shevchenko is set as the co-main. Stay tuned to Bloody Elbow for more news and updates as the event approaches.
