Daniel Cormier just made history this past Saturday at UFC 226, when he defeated Stipe Miocic to capture the promotion’s heavyweight belt, while simultaneously holding the light-heavy strap. In what was an extremely WWE-like scenario, polarizing wrestler and former UFC heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar entered the Octagon following DC’s victory, and tactlessly established himself as his next challenger. Bloody Elbow is here to bring you the odds for that potential mega matchup.

Online gambling site BetDSI has provided an opening betting line for Daniel Cormier vs. Brock Lesnar, with the 21-1 DC strongly favored to get the job done, and the 5-3-1 Lesnar left in underdog land. Cormier is getting his rightful respect as the betting favorite, with a thick line of -260. On the flipside, Lesnar’s uphill battle has been assessed with a moneyline of +200, which is one of the fattest dog tags of his short career, only second to his opening odds in a hypothetical bout against Jon Jones. Nothing is set in stone in this sport, and anything can happen, but if this fight actually gets booked, then you can rest assure that there will be plenty of fun prop bets coming to the surface. Stay tuned!
