Holy smokes! The UFC Hamburg main event witnessed Anthony Smith brutally knock out the promotion’s #8 light heavyweight Shogun Rua in under 90 seconds. Smith patiently caught the timing of his opponent, and then began to turn it on. Smith upped his power and upped his output, forcing Shogun to cover up. Then boom, a nasty elbow to the dome stunned and opened up Shogun, and then a right-left hooking combo put him out cold...while standing.

This massive win for Smith places him at 2-0 at 205 pounds, and since he just knocked out the #8 dude in the world, it should to set him up for another big name fight in his next outing. Smith called out Alexander Gustafsson in his post-fight interview, but we will see where he ends up next.
