Main Card:

Lance Palmer def. Tuerxun Jumabieke by submission (RNC) at 4:36 of round 3 : Featherweight

Palmer came out working his strikes, but as soon as shot in, Palmer began working his own grappling game. From the top of half guard, Palmer dropped several strikes as Tuerxun struggled to improve his position. Palmer quickly took the back of Tuerxun to open up the second round, and quickly transitioned into full mount. Tuerxun did gain the half guard, but sort of just stalled out from that position, conceding the top control to Palmer for the remainder of the round. Palmer returned to his striking in the final frame, mixing up his kicks and punches as he walked down Tuerxun. Palmer found top position again after Tuerxun botched a takedown, and worked an RNC from the back as time dwindled down. With less than 30 seconds remaining in the fight, Palmer tightened up the sub, forcing Tuerxun to tapout.

  • Tuerxun - 0 points

Andre Harrison def. Nazareno Malegarie by unanimous decision (30-27 x3): Featherweight

Malegarie looked to shoot in on Harrison early in the fight, but Harrison was having none of it, forcing Malegarie to stand with him. Harrison exploded in several times with crisp boxing combinations, which prompted Malegarie to keep shooting in. Harrison continued to score with his hands in the second stanza, before backing Malegarie up to the fence. Malegarie was wobbled when Harrison clocked him with a heavy hook on the clinch break. Harrison followed up with a flurry of fury, but somehow Malegarie stayed on his feet and kept throwing.

Malegarie continued to struggle with getting the fight tot he ground in the last round. The takedown defense of Harrison was just too prime for Malegarie to find a way around. The broadcast displayed a graphic that showed Harrison out-landing Malegarie in power strikes 29-1 with about 90 seconds remaining in the final round. Malegarie went for it there at the end, throwing overhand punches trying to get a finish, but Harrison was just too defensively sound.
