Sunday afternoon in Malaysia, Manny Pacquiao defeated Lucas Matthysse with a 7th round knockout. It was the Filipino’s first stoppage win since 2009, and also marked yet another title victory for the eight-division champion.
Shortly after the victory, Pacquiao, who also promoted the event, addressed the assembled media. He spoke about various topics from claiming that he has a lot left in the tank, and feels closer to 29 than 39. Also fielding some questions from the press was Pacquiao’s new head coach and longtime friend, Buboy Fernandez.
