It’s here! Welcome to International Fight Week 2018, and everyone is looking forward to UFC 226 on July 7th. Stipe Miocic puts his heavyweight belt on the line vs. light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier in the main event, while featherweight champion Max Holloway defends his title against Brian Ortega.
The rest of the main card is simply awesome. Derrick Lewis vs. Francis Ngannou is not going the distance, and if it does then something has gone horribly wrong. Michael Chiesa and Anthony Pettis should be safe from Conor McGregor’s bus vandalizing ways this time around, as they were rescheduled from UFC 223 to this event. Opening the PPV is former kickboxing star Gokhan Saki against Khalil Rountree.
Oh, you aren’t satisfied enough? Uriah Hall and Paulo Costa top the FS1 prelims, which also include Mike Perry against Paul Felder, Max Griffin and Curtis Millender, plus Raphael Assuncao and Rob Font. Dan Hooker and Gilbert Burns ended up on the Fight Pass portion of this show.
