The UFC middleweight title is no longer on the line tonight in the Windy City. In Chicago’s United Center, champion Rob Whittaker will take on the always dangerous Yoel Romero in what was originally planned to be Whittaker's first UFC middleweight title defense, but Romero missed weight, so this is a non-title fight.
Before Whittaker and Romero get their rematch from UFC 213 underway, there is an actual belt on the line (kinda). The co-main sees Rafael dos Anjos take on the outspoken Colby Covington. Also on the card is the debut of women’s featherweight Megan Anderson, who takes on the veteran Holly Holm and a match-up between iconic heavyweight Andrei Arlovski and the upstart Tai Tuivasa.
The PPV opens with 0-1 fighters CM Punk and Mike Jackson searching for their first wins in the UFC.
