UFC 225 video: Embedded, part 3 - ‘I’m on the Ric Flair diet’

Check out the third episode of Embedded for UFC 225.

UFC 225 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the third episode for this weekend’s big show in the Windy City, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.

We start off in New York, where they’re doing promotion for the card. Colby Covington talks his regular garbage on a podcast with Jim Norton and others. He basically just recycled some pro wrestling lines from the past. Next.

Robert Whittaker plays some video games as a distraction from the fight game. Next up is Tai Tuivasa, who is with his team in his hotel room. They tape up a flag in the hotel room window. He then goes to a bar and orders octopus and greens, but would much rather be “eating the ass out of a pig.” He cracks a deez nuts joke and everyone laughs. Tuivasa has some personality for sure.

Megan Anderson is here. She’s signing posters and discussing her fight with Holly Holm. Yoel Romero is dancing in his hotel hallway. Claudia Gadelha makes a quick cameo as Romero walks by and greets her. On a bus ride to a photoshoot with Whittaker and Anderson, Tuivasa takes the mic and acts like the worst tour guide of all time. It’s pretty damn funny, though. They all awkwardly strip down in the crazy wind for the shoot, and they’re ridiculously cold. This is the most entertaining Embedded episode in a while.

Then we’re off to the legendary Wrigley Field for a whole new type of fun. Chicago natives CM Punk and Clay Guida get their owns Cubbies jerseys, and they get to sing Take Me Out To The Ball Game. It might be cheesy, but it’s tradition and I like it.

And that’s it! UFC 225 goes down this Saturday night in the Windy City.
