A flyweight fight between UFC veteran John Moraga and Deiveson Figueiredo has been added to UFC Lincoln on August 25th.
Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting reported the matchup on Wednesday. This will be Figueiredo’s first MMA fight outside of his native country of Brazil.
Moraga (19-6) is currently on a three-fight winning streak, including decisions wins over Wilson Reis and Ashkan Mokhtarian, he also secured a first round knockout win against Magmed Bibulatov which earned him a $50,000 bonus at UFC 216.
Undefeated since making his pro debut back in 2012, Figueiredo (14-0) will fight his fourth UFC fight against Moraga on August 25th. During his time in the UFC, Figueiredo has picked up TKO wins over Marco Beltrán and Joseph Morales, and a split decision win against Jarred Brooks.
UFC Lincoln takes place on August 25th at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska. The card will be headlined by a lightweight contest between fan favourite Justin Gaethje and Al Iaquinta.
