- UFC 225 recap — The stacked UFC 225 pay-per-view card took place last Saturday at United Center in Chicago. In the main event, middleweight champion Robert Whittaker faced top contender Yoel Romero in a non-title bout (due to Romero missing weight by 0.2 pounds last Friday). In a Fight of the Year candidate, Whittaker won by split decision; he would have retained his belt win or lose, however. Some fans argued that the bout should have been scored a draw or a Romero win. In the co-headliner, Colby Covington won the interim welterweight title with a unanimous decision win over Rafael dos Anjos.
