UFC 225 is in the books, and the main event saw an all-out war between Robert Whittaker and Yoel Romero that forced each man to dig deep. The co-headliner had Colby Covington winning the interim welterweight title after edging Rafael dos Anjos, with judges favoring control and pressure over better, cleaner power shots from distance.
Also on the card, CM Punk was completely dominated and outclassed by Mike Jackson in his second, and probably final, UFC bout.

PROS: Another prospect vs vet match up, but experience won this time. Holm got hit early, but adjusted & controlled Megan on the cage & ground
CONS: Wasn’t exciting, but Holm did what she needed. Megan needs a lot of work. She also lost her title shot
TUIVASA EDGES ARLOVSKI

PROS: Arlovski, at 39, showed veteran smarts. Tuivasa got tested, and passed what should be a big learning experience for the prospect.

PROS: Not trying to be mean, but I have to be honest. I actually enjoyed this way more than I should’ve. Punk was sooo bad, so stiff, it became entertaining to see him just try. Those kicks were, uhm.. yeah.
CONS: lol at Rogan saying Punk stole the 1st.

CONS: Weird judges. Main card was all decisions. Rogan was bad tonight. We’ll now be forced to hear more lame smack talk from Covington. CM Punk experiment is done.
