UFC 224 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the second episode for this weekend’s big show in Brazil, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
This part goes in a different direction right away, starting off with someone who we didn’t see in the first episode at all - Lyoto Machida. He talks about how nice Rio is and what an honor it is to fight Vitor Belfort. He then goes for a swim.
Amanda Nunes works out with Nina Ansaroff. She believes that she will finish Raquel Pennington. Ronaldo Souza gets to Brazil and poses for a few fan selfies. He then sees Kelvin Gastelum’s coach Rafael Cordeiro in the hotel. They say it’s all business and they’re still friends after. Gastelum is right there as Jacare checks in.
Gastelum has lunch on the beach and discusses the perks of being a fighter.
Amanda Cooper makes her first appearance, standing in the hotel pool and talking about her baby food diet.
Back to Nunes, who is laughing at Ansaroff trying to baby her with sunscreen before a run on the beach. Pennington and Tecia Torres see them after their run, and they stand around and talk. Nunes says it’s not weird. Pennington also discusses her friendship with Nina and Amanda, saying it’s all good. They head up to Corcovado with their team and have a great tme.
And that’s it! UFC 224 goes down this Saturday night in Rio.
