UFC 222 final betting odds: Cris Cyborg remains massive favorite

Here are the UFC 222 closing odds in which the women’s featherweight champ Cris Cyborg is still heavily favored to beat Yana Kunitskaya in the main event.

It’s fight day! So, that means Bloody Elbow is right back at you with the UFC 222 closing odds, and the UFC’s featherweight queen Cris Cyborg (-1565) continues to be astronomically favored to beat promotional newcomer Yana Kunitskaya (+1240) in the main event. In the co-main event, the UFC’s former lightweight champ Frankie Edgar (-145) is favored to dish out the first professional loss to the undefeated Brian Ortega (+135). Aside from Cyborg, check out the other hefty betting favorites scheduled for UFC 222:

(-420) Mackenzie Dern vs. Ashley Yoder (+375): Strawweight

(-380) Beneil Dariush vs. Alexander Hernandez (+340): Lightweight

(-290) Zak Ottow vs. Mike Pyle (+260): Welterweight

As first seen in Bloody Elbow’s midweek betting odds post, Cat Zingano still sports a underdog tag at +180 on most betting sites, and BetDSI is still the only place that you can find her at a favored line of -110. Her opponent, Ketlen Vieira, clocks in at -195 on most sights, but still at -120 on BetDSI.

Overlooking the weird Cat Zingano vs. Ketlen Vieira situation, the pick’em bouts of the night belong to (-110) Hector Lombard vs. C.B. Dollaway (-110 up to +122), and (-105) Andre Soukhamthath vs. Sean O’Malley (-105).

Tonight’s UFC 222 main card will air live on Pay-Per-View at 10:00 P.M. EST with the prelims starting at 8:00 P.M. EST on FS1. The exclusive Fight Pass prelims will begin at 6:30 P.M. EST.

Sean O’Malley vs. Andre Soukhamthath: Bantamweight

For some reason, Sean O’Malley opened up as a -260 betting favorite to the much more experienced Andre Soukhamthath, and his opening line of +180. It didn’t take very long for some adjustments to be made, which caused O’Malley to fall into underdog territory at +115, and Soukhamthath to flip to a favored line of -135. Now, each athlete can be found at -105 , respectively.

Jordan Johnson vs. Adam Milstead: Light Heavyweight

Jordan Johnson opened up as a strong betting favorite at -270, and even dropped down to -330 before some late money on his opponent boosted his line to around -225. Adam Milstead began his UFC 222 light heavyweight betting life as a substantial underdog at +195, reaching all the way to +270 before dropping down to -225.

Mackenzie Dern vs. Ashley Yoder: Strawweight

Ashley Yoder is not a knockout threat, as the bulk of her pro MMA success has come by way of submission. Mackenzie Dern is a BJJ goddess. Yoder is getting sub’d is what I’m saying. Dern wins inside distance @-168 is quite the looker.
