UFC 222 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the fourth episode for this weekend’s big show in Vegas, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
Things start off at the Monte Carlo, where Cris Cyborg and Sean O’Malley are working out in the same area. O’Malley says how cool it was to meet her. Over at the UFC Performance Institute, Ashley Yoder gets some face time. She talks about always being the underdog, and using her experience against Mackenzie Dern.
Andre Soukhamthath talks about killing everything. He does an interview, and discusses about O’Malley’s trash talk. Yana Kunitskaya talks about her fight, saying that she’s a big girl and they’re going to show a lot of aggression. Now we’re onto Dern, who does the photoshoot and shows of pictures of her dogs.
Brian Ortega does some media and a photoshoot as well. Frankie Edgar is asked to basically build the best possible fighter. He says he’d take Anderson Silva’s striking, Georges St-Pierre’s grappling, Jon Jones’ creativity, and for grit, he totally isn’t going to pick himself.
“I’ll say me. F—k it.”
And that’s it! UFC 222 goes down in Vegas this Saturday night.
