The UFC’s #13 middleweight Lyoto Machida earned a hard fought split decision victory over Eryk Anders in the UFC Belem main event. Pro fighters shared their thoughts on Twitter, with a couple questioning Tony Weeks’ 49-46 scorecard in Machida’s favor.
WHOA!!!! 49-46?!?!... I knew it. #UFCBelem

Damn what a close fight. I think the judges go with machida on that. But you never know. I got machida 1 and 5, anders 3and 4. Round 2 is gonna be the deciding factor

I feel like Anders won the fight.

I also know where this fight happened and fully expect Machida to win a decision here.
Would watch again. #UFCBelem
I have it 4-1 for @erykanders #UFCBelem

Had it Machida 3-2 maybe 4-1 due to the striking totals & no passes or punching with the couple of takedowns, but wow what patience and calmness by Anders only Alabama football would prepare you for that type of moment. Bright future! #UFCBelem

That’s one of the worst decisions in @UFC history. Who would have ever thought a robbery would happen in that #dump they call Brazil?! Go figure. #UFCBelem
