The UFC Fight Night: Machida vs. Anders weigh-ins featured three fighters coming in over their respective weight class limits. Headliner Eryk Anders was given extra time after coming in at 187.9 pounds, and was able to shed the remaining 1.9 to make Saturday’s main event bout vs. Lyoto Machida official.
We still don’t know if John Dodson vs. Pedro Munhoz will materialize, as Munhoz came in at 140, four pounds over the bantamweight limit. Michel Prazeres was five pounds over for his fight against Desmond Green, and that’s yet another weight miss for Prazeres. MMA Fighting reports that Prazeres-Green will go on as scheduled.
