The upcoming UFC 223 card in Brooklyn is continuing to shape up. On Tuesday, another fight was announced and made official.

A featherweight showdown between Artem Lobov and Alex Caceres is slated to take place this April. MMA Fighting first reported the news.

Both men are entering the fight coming off losses. Caceres (13-11, with eight wins by stoppage), last fought at the UFC’s debut event in Shanghai, China last November against Wang Guan. “Bruce Leroy” lost the fight via split decision.

Lobov (13-14, with six wins by stoppage), is currently on a two-fight losing streak. The SBG Dublin fighter, who is widely known for being teammates with Conor McGregor, last saw action at the UFC’s Fight Night card in Poland last October, where he faced Team Alpha Male’s Andre Fili. Lobov lost the fight via unanimous decision.

UFC 223 will take place on April 7th at the Barclays Center. If all goes well, it will be headlined by the much-awaited lightweight title fight between Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov. The co-main event will be a strawweight championship rematch between Rose Namajunas and Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
