Floyd Mayweather outboxed and TKO’d Conor McGregor in the boxing ring back in 2016, but ‘The Best Ever’ is still throwing pop shots at the Irishman.

Speaking to the media ahead of his exhibition boxing match against Tenshin Nasukawa at the upcoming RIZIN New Year’s Eve card, Mayweather was asked about his thoughts on a rematch with McGregor, as well as a possible bout with current UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Floyd said he has already taken care of business with ‘The Notorious’ but is open to a mega-fight with ‘The Eagle.’

“Conor and Khabib are still bringing me up because like I said before, I’m the face of combat sports period, whether it’s boxing or MMA, I’m the face of it all,” Mayweather said, per Michael Benson of TalkSport.

“I’m not worried about them guys, Conor McGregor he already know what happened, he ran his mouth – I took care of that.

“Khabib running his mouth. If he wants to get in there, I’ll take care of him too.”

When asked if he would ever fight under MMA rules, the undefeated boxing superstar said he wouldn’t ever entertain the idea, implying that mixed martial arts is a ‘degenerate’ sport.

“Everything is always on my terms, I’m the ‘A’ side, always,” he continued. “I’m not going to fight in the MMA ring.

“If I do fight in the MMA ring – boxing only, everything is my rules, my way, I worked hard to put myself in the position that I call all the shots.

“I’m not a f***ing degenerate, I’m not going to go into nobody’s cage and do what they do, if that’s the case I would’ve done that from the beginning.

“If anybody wants to compete against me or fight against me, it’s in a boxing ring.”

Mayweather is scheduled to face Japanese kickboxing dynamo Tenshin Nasukawa in a three-round, exhibition boxing bout at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan on New Year’s Eve.
