The UFC had two events last weekend, with the TUF Finale and UFC Adelaide taking place on successive nights. The most relevant fight from either event came in the welterweight division, with Kamaru Usman cementing his spot in title contention via a strong win over Rafael dos Anjos. On the Adelaide card, Junior dos Santos won his main event bout but it didn’t affect his spot in the rankings.
Instead, it was another heavyweight fight a little bit further down the card that did have some impact. Justin Willis’ tepid win over Mark Hunt led him to crack the top ten for the first time, while Hunt’s time in the rankings is over following his departure from the promotion.
Here’s a look at all the changes.
P4P - No changes.
Heavyweight - Willis moves up six spots to eight with the win over Hunt. Marcin Tybura drops one spot to nine. As mentioned, Hunt is out of the rankings due to being done with the UFC. Blagoy Ivanov enters the rankings at 15.
